Women in Security & Privacy is a proud partner of USENIX Enigma 2017, the Advanced Computing Systems Association Conference on the current and emerging threats and defenses on the growing intersection of society and technology.  We have a booth at the USENIX Enigma Partners & Sponsors are to meet attendees and discuss all the good work that we are doing to promote the development, advancement, and inclusion of women in security and privacy.

As a nonprofit project, we depend on donations from our community to accomplish our mission. It's because of donors like you in the security community that we are able to expand our offerings and community reach!

WISP wants to address the talent pipeline problem in the cybersecurity field, by expanding the number of qualified cybersecurity professionals and by increasing their diversity. WISP seeks to directly address the issue of the talent pipeline in through several projects:

  • For bachelors or masters female and minority candidates who are pursuing degrees in fields related to cybersecurity and privacy, we intend to provide up to $10,000 in scholarship funds to qualified and deserving students.
  • For professionals and new graduates who are looking to break into the field of privacy and cybersecurity, WISP and its partners offers education, career advancement, inclusion, mentorship, networking, leadership training and research opportunities.
